My town some years ago

I'm very proud to present one of the projects the Junior class has been working on. It is about how our city was a few years ago. Although our students are very young, they can speak and write in English so nicely! They h
ave even achieved speaking and writing about the past! Here is their work:
This was my town fifty years ago. There was a butcher's, a baker's, and a greengrocer's, but there wasn't a supermarket! By Kiriaki Ioannou

This is my town thirty years ago. There were some shops and a lot of houses and there were beautiful trees. There were a lot of people, but there weren't many cars. By Alexia Skepetari
This is my town twenty years ago. There was a greengrocer's, a supermarket and a butcher's. There was a place to play and a church, too! There weren't many cars. It was a beautiful town then. By Dimitra Salaouni

This is my town ten years ago. There was a greengrocer's, a hotel and a baker's. There was a museum, too! There were a lot of cars but there weren't many people. It was a noisy town back then. By Persa Katsakiori

The Canterville Ghost: My favourite character of the story

My favourite character in the Canterville ghost story are the twins, because they are very funny and clever.
They are short and slim. They have got fair hair and black eyes. They wear blue blouses with white and blue shorts. They usually wear brown shoes.
They are playful children and they love playing tricks on people and especially on the ghost. They are very clever and funny.

Meine Schultasche

ENGLISH NURSERY CLASS1

How cute they are!!! Even though just half of the class attended today's lesson, I couldn't resist to share this lovely photo with you!
The aim of the lesson was to learn and use the verb '' can''. At some point, they produced their own sentences and demonstrated the action. Some of the sentences were the following:
''I can say the alphabet''
''I can sleep''
''I can play tennis''
''I can swim''
''I can smell pizza''
etc
They sang:
Ronnie rabbit can jump
Ronnie rabbit can jump
Ronnie rabbit can jump... can jump
BOEING BOEING BOEING
Little Kenny can sing
Little Kenny can sing
little Kenny can sing...can sing
LA LA LA
A CREATIVE MOMENT
''Do you like cakes?
Yes or No? Yes or No?
Do you like cakes?
Let me know, let me know!''
Two delicious cakes by Mark & Jim Papadimitriou
Yummy, yummy!!!
''I can smell a pizza
I can smell a pizza
sniff, sniff, sniff, sniff
let's eat now''
Yipee, yipee!

Well done darlings!

IF I HAD A ROBOT

If I had a robot, it would change my life which means it would make things better.
First of all, it would help me with my homework.
That would be great! Then, it would help me with the household chores that my mum asks me to do. I could also have fun with it! For example, I could ask it to take me to the moon or to other planets.
Well, I would love to have a robot if they were not fictional!!!!

IF I HAD A ROBOT

If I had a robot, my life would be different. Robots do a lot of things.
They would guard my house, do the household chores and cook.
My life would be better and safer.
I would love to have a robot to help me with my homework, too.
